I love, love this cookie! If you have ever had a cookie from Chick-fil-A you are going to love this one too! This makes lots of cookies so you are going to want to bless a friend with a little sweetness. Save this one for your holiday cookie swap. You’re going to love it.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 sticks of butter

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of dark brown sugar, packed

2 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 ½ cups old fashioned oats

2 cups AP Flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together the butter and sugars. Add the vanilla and eggs. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 14-16 minutes depending on how chewy or crunchy you like your cookie.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies
