These Piggy Shots are perfect for Sunday football! The combination of crispy bacon, juicy sausage, jalapeno, and sweet BBQ makes for an irresistible bite. You can create endless variations by adding your own twists of sweet and spicy flavors. Grab a mini muffin pan and let's get cooking!
Piggy Shots
1 pkg of your favorite kielbasa cut up into 1 inch chunks
1 pkg of your favorite bacon cut in half
2 jalapeños sliced in thin circles (I leave the seeds in them for more spice)
Sauce
1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
Wrap each chunk of kielbasa with half a piece of bacon. Place these in a mini muffin pan
and top with a jalapeño slice. Then spoon sauce evenly over your shots and bake at 375 degrees
for 35-40 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and using a fork take them out of the pan and place on serving tray and enjoy!
Just Do Better
To cut back on the fat you can use turkey kielbasa and/or turkey bacon. You can also choose to use a sugar free BBQ sauce. I do this with turkey kielbasa and it turns out great!
